Lunar Spells (GRE) – Sacraments of Necromantical Empires DIGI-CD €16.88
Black Metal
Lunar Spells is a Greek Black Metal band formed in Athens in 2020, by Cryptic (guitar, vocals, synths), K.C.H (bass) and V.T (drums). Both musically and lyrically, Lunar Spells stays close to the roots of Scandinavian “old school” black metal. Lyrical subjects thus often deal with darkness, depression, misanthropy and hate. After their first EP recording Medieval Shadows from an Ancient Netherworld (2020), the line-up was augmented by Atxak on vocals, and the group recorded their debut full length album Where Silence Whispers. Here is presented the new full-length album!

Lune – Hymns to the Lunar Realm CD €15.88
Black Metal
Hymns to the Lunar Realm is divided into four songs, each between 9 and 10 minutes long. While the tracks don’t drastically differ from one another, every song demonstrates diverse elements. We can take “Stardust Elysium” as an example. It kicks off with the aforementioned interplay of angelic choirs and anguished demonic cries. Soon after, a sombre melody takes center stage. After 2 minutes, an exquisite piano solo kicks in, supported by the grand sounds of brass instruments. The strained vocals return to overwhelm the piano playing, and blast beats crush the elegant music into ferocious black metal. At the six-minute-mark, the keys and trumpets resurface triumphantly, heralding a final transition to a two-minute-long section of ambience, giving the listener a moment’s rest before the grand finale.

Macabre Omen (GRE) – Anamneses DIGI-CD €16.88
Black Metal
“Anamneses” is a minialbum filled with memories and recollections that were gathered over a period of 25 years since the band’s formation. It showcases an exclusive new track, the first one since the release of the sophomore album “Gods of War – At War” in 2015, an epic long journey in search of the Sirens and the pursuit of a mean to “forget” and move forward.
The track “Anamneses from the Past (Sirens Calling)” essentially links MACABRE OMEN`s Past with the Present and the Future and has managed along the way to capture the Sirens` Voices in their entirety for the first time ever. To compliment this cathartic journey we decided to add as bonus all the old mid 90s material, remastered from original sources and where possible also remixed.
Presented on noble digipack cd and limited black or cold blue vinyl formats, filled with liner notes and unseen photography and art. May past pains become future pleasures. In stock

Mactätus (DEU) – Provenance Of Cruelty DIGI-CD €16.88
Black Metal
“Provenance of Cruelty” is the second album of Mactätus, originally released by Napalm Records in late 1998. At the time of its release the hype for Scandinavian Black Metal in general and Symphonic and Melodic Black Metal in particular was already declining, following milestones such as Emperor’s “In the Nightside Eclipse”, Dimmu Borgir’s “Stormblåst”, Mörk Gryning’s “Tusen år har gått”, Gehenna’s “Second Spell” or Limbonic Art’s “Moon in the Scorpio”.
The result was that at the time of their release in late 1998 equally brilliant Symphonic Black Metal albums such as Odium’s “The Sad Realm of the Stars” or Mactätus’ “Provenance of Cruelty” were not as appreciated by a majority of fans as the earlier classics before them and remained a bit obscure and underrated for quite some time.

Mantiel (CL) – Obskurité CD €14.88
Black Metal
Dark and true to the spiritual hatred, comes a ritual of primitive bleakness. Harboring decrepit abolishments of purity in the sign of tragedy. In dark conspiracy between German and Chilean black metal manifests an unseen face of the plagues.
MANTIEL births new atrocities since it’s last full-length ‘Pagan Winter Battles’ released in 2020. Eight new hymns of this impure and hopeless black metal that comes from the clash of the sounds of Germany and Chile. In an absolute lifeless form, these sounds emit bleakness and ruin. This full-length “Obskurité” is a strong monolith of the Pure Raw Underground Black Metal Plague circle. Fully equipped with grim and blasphemous moments that ressurect the spirit of true evil. “Obskurité” is an ancient and eroded altar of black metal, with crude vocals and melodic guitar-work that display evocations of unholiness. These sounds are truly depressive and cast into solitude beyond life.

“Vestiges Engraved in Frozen Mysticism” is the fifth album or “rotten sphere” that this bloody legion emanates from the mystical Valdivian landscape, with an enriching and powerful story behind this necro/masterful work, characterized by its own sound that perfectly adheres to the classic roots of the 90s. Paying a solemn tribute to the spirit of Kaldrad in one of his musical pieces, the mirrors of the past and paganism embodied in the compositional auræs.

Resembling an ancient agony, in eternal dying splendor, these entities have crossed the southern night skies to recite a work entitled “Ensomhet” one of the ancient passages adorned with darkness and cruelty. This opus to the ancient ones hovers over the distant eyes of the great black dragon, the eternal poisonous sleep of the gods exalted in cold cacophonous stormwinds, each of the orchestrations constitutes the black spell of the primordial realms and the majestic countenance, of vitrified prayers beyond from the southern mountains eroded and sunken by fate, where primitive man completed his transmigration in the mysteries and secrets of possession…
