Previously unleashed in 2020, ‘Demo III’ from Wampyric Rites presents four tracks of the phenomenally distinguished Ecuadorian Raw Black Metal that tears into the mind with self-destructive and agonizing walls of guitars, and then contrasted with the blossoming sounds of acoustic guitars and woodwind instruments. Perfectly intertwining into this foul piece of raw black metal that has been established into the discography of the project, this work is committed to the uprising of total devastation, as we have seen before with Wampyric Rites’ previous releases. This embodiment of impure Ecuadorian mysticism is Lo-Fi black metal at it’s finest combined with compositions of acoustic magnificence. Originally released on LP format in 2020, now to be re-issued by Inferna Profundus Records, more of the Pure Raw Undergound Black Metal Plague entity that has made its presence dominate the heart of Black Metal.

Already in the early days „The Stars Are Dead Now“ was advanced with two additional tracks, followed by multiple re-issues showcasing the interest in this recording. However, the record always kept its tense character making it the perfect soundtrack for dreary days. The release comprises of seven titles, one as a fully instrumental ambient track („The Old Ghost In The Well“), and all lyrics and music were solely done by G.B., giving this band and release a rather unparalleled sound. Undoubtedly „The Stars Are Dead Now“ must be considered a true must-have for those involved in a more ambient-rooted kind of black metal and the sounds of isolation.

Lunar Spells is a Greek black metal band formed in Athens in 2020, by Cryptic (guitar, vocals, synths), K.C.H (bass) and V.T (drums). Both musically and lyrically, Lunar Spells stays close to the roots of Scandinavian “old school” black metal. Lyrical subjects thus often deal with darkness, depression, misanthropy and hate. After their first EP recording Medieval Shadows from an Ancient Netherworld (2020), the line-up was augmented by Atxak on vocals, and the group recorded their debut full length album Where Silence Whispers.

Negros Manifestos de Ordem Venusiana, a split LP presented on noble vinyl, to honor the ancient ways.
Indeed, both hordes wholly honor the ancient ways, and understandably are two of the mightiest and most respected hordes in Portugal’s nowadays raw black metal scene.
Negros Manifestos de Ordem Venusiana is something of an intergenerational pairing, however, as MONS VENERIS have been prolifically polluting the underground since 2003 while ORDEM SATANICA, by comparison, started their near-equally prolific onslaught in 2014.
Nevertheless, as representatives of the Portuguese Black Metal, here on Negros Manifestos de Ordem Venusiana do both hordes create provocative portrayals of their unique darkness and despair.
ORDEM SATANICA are on Side A and unfurl three haunting and medieval tracks, roaming the castle with that spectral rawness they’ve truly made their own the last few years.
MONS VENERIS are on Side B and offer an epic, side-long track that roams the rawest dungeons, spanning punkish bash and hypnotic hysteria alike, torrents of noise to ruin your soul.

RUTTOKOSMOS are one of the great “what if?”s of Finnish black metal. The band formed sometime in 2003 and released the five-song Ja minä näin kuoleman demo in 2006 and then the six-song Kärsimys demo a year later. Afterward, nothing was heard from RUTTOKOSMOS ever again. Only one member concurrently played in Divina Inferis, and the other two members either disappeared and played pseudonymously in other bands.
