The UK’s Abduction and Canada’s Nocturnal Prayer hereby announce their alliance on this new split LP release by Inferna Profundus Records, entitled INTERCONTINENTAL DEATH CONSPIRACY.
Ever restless and imminent, both these projects have repeatedly proven their respective intent on multiple releases in recent years. Abduction’s 2019 critically acclaimed 3rd album ‘All Pain As Penance’ and Nocturnal Prayers’ 2020 universally praised ‘Advance on Weakened Foes’, an amalgamation of two sought-after demos, serve to demonstrate a sort of cosmic nihilism that conjoins on this release of brand new tracks from each band, despite both projects’ geographical gap and the differing styles on offer.

Negros Manifestos de Ordem Venusiana, a split LP presented on noble vinyl, to honor the ancient ways.
Indeed, both hordes wholly honor the ancient ways, and understandably are two of the mightiest and most respected hordes in Portugal’s nowadays raw black metal scene.
Negros Manifestos de Ordem Venusiana is something of an intergenerational pairing, however, as MONS VENERIS have been prolifically polluting the underground since 2003 while ORDEM SATANICA, by comparison, started their near-equally prolific onslaught in 2014.
Nevertheless, as representatives of the Portuguese Black Metal, here on Negros Manifestos de Ordem Venusiana do both hordes create provocative portrayals of their unique darkness and despair.
ORDEM SATANICA are on Side A and unfurl three haunting and medieval tracks, roaming the castle with that spectral rawness they’ve truly made their own the last few years.
MONS VENERIS are on Side B and offer an epic, side-long track that roams the rawest dungeons, spanning punkish bash and hypnotic hysteria alike, torrents of noise to ruin your soul.

After 2019’s well-received Endless Trails demo via SIGNAL REX, HOLLOW WOODS strike with a full-length debut fittingly titled Cold Winds Cleave the Earth. While hailing from Finland, this mysterious entity largely eschew their homeland’s reigning black metal idiom, instead taking influence from Ukraine (Roman Saenko’s projects), Norway (early Ulver, equally early Gorgoroth), and especially Russia (the Blazebirth Hall collective). Already in the early days „The Stars Are Dead Now“ was advanced with two additional tracks, followed by multiple re-issues showcasing the interest in this recording. However, the record always kept its tense character making it the perfect soundtrack for dreary days. The release comprises of seven titles, one as a fully instrumental ambient track („The Old Ghost In The Well“), and all lyrics and music were solely done by G.B., giving this band and release a rather unparalleled sound. Undoubtedly „The Stars Are Dead Now“ must be considered a true must-have for those involved in a more ambient-rooted kind of black metal and the sounds of isolation.

By now, IRAE should require little introduction. Since the dawn of this cursed millennium, mainman Vulturius has prolifically pursued a singular vision of RAW BLACK METAL that includes four full-lengths and countless split releases with likeminded comrades. RUTTOKOSMOS are one of the great “what if?”s of Finnish black metal. The band formed sometime in 2003 and released the five-song Ja minä näin kuoleman demo in 2006 and then the six-song Kärsimys demo a year later. Afterward, nothing was heard from RUTTOKOSMOS ever again. Only one member concurrently played in Divina Inferis, and the other two members either disappeared and played pseudonymously in other bands.
