Furthering DENIAL OF GOD’s by-then already-unique style, The Horrors of Satan retains a very medieval feel with its lyrics about witches, werewolves, vampires and the infamous iron gibbet, which was a body-shaped iron cage used to display the bodies of dead or dying criminals. The album also became the beginning of a new and stronger chapter for DENIAL OF GOD, with many of the songs still appearing in the band’s live sets today – a chapter which, so far, has produced several EPs and three albums. It also saw the band moving towards an even-more-epic songwriting, proved by the 13-minute title track, for example, which closes the album.

Dripping Papal Blood is the secret unreleased second demo recorded a decade ago in 2010, in the band’s now shuttered ‘the prisoner’s chant…’ studio which rested at ground level across from the oldest cemetery in new york and rumored to be haunted.

The noble acceptance of forced exile, the inescapable chill of the prison cell, and the cruel rush of combat all fill the aristocrat’s appetite for his boundless quest for honor. Napoleon’s coronation—the Anti-Christ’s ascent—left the earth damp with the crimson blood of elitism.

Originally released in 2011 on the Tour de Garde label, Departure Chandelier’s demo recording, “The Black Crest of Death, the Gold Wreath of War,” was recorded in 2010, a year after “Antichirst Rise To Power,” the band’s recently released debut full-length completed in 2009. With slightly heavier production than the album—an intentional act by the band—this demo nevertheless achieves the same atmosphere, one defined by the inherent discord between the visceral body of the songs and the ornate melodies reflected in the poignant interplay of guitars and keyboards, in which one hears the influence of O.T.A.L. and Strid. Musically and conceptually, Departure Chandelier explore the dichotomous relationship connecting unbridled freedom and the concomitant lust for power with tyranny and despotism.

Depressive Silence was founded by RAL & B.S. from Mightiest in 1994. The band is one of the cult acts and forerunners of the Dungeon Synth genre alongside Mortiis and Jim Kirkwood.

Back then, the genre wasn’t even called Dungeon Synth yet, and only later got that monicker, probably named after Mortiis’ label Dark Dungeon Music. At first it was just Dark Ambient. Nonetheless it was already something special in that it combined elements from Black Metal (more visually and thematically rather than musically) and fantasy into a new style that appealed to some Black Metal fans as well as those who preferred keyboard music and role playing games. Once the name Dungeon Synth had been established the appeal to (Black) Metal fans became much greater and the genre really took off, with Depressive Silence as one of the most beloved and well known bands of this rapidly growing genre.

First released in 2000 comes now re-mastered and with new coverartwork.

Vinyl comes in black vinyl and LE250 mint vinyl with printed innersleeve and the CD in catchy foldout cover and booklet.

Derniere Volonte is an artist that has been evolving over the years, starting from 1998 with the thematic limited cassette release “Obeir et mourir” which was an historical snapshot of a particular place in time.

However, in the millennium the level of standards were raised with their so called debut album “Le Feu Sacre”, which brought us a beating, martial rhythms and gloomy keyboard patterns, combined with orchestral samples, and of course Geoffrey D.’s characteristic voice and French vocals. The environment that formed without relying on the tricks of the trade is what really piqued interest. The beauty of this particular release lay in its simplicity and originality.
Very outstanding that time and 21 years later still a masterpiece.

HR!100 is not only a jubilee release for Austrian label HauRucK! – its as well a celebration of a personal releation between the label and Derniere Volonte which lasts already over 10 years. Ne Te Retourne pas is a compliation of songs which apeared on some limited vinyl, dompilations but as well unreleased tracks dating from 2003 till today, some songs come from different side projects which never got released. The single ‘Toujours’ wich was recprded for the Devant le Miroir Tour is available for the 1st time on CD as well you will find the track from a planned but never released mCD – produced at the same period and the main title was ‘Mon Insolence’ wich became, later, ‘Languissant’ on Devant le Miroir.

Industrial

Re-release of the 1st ever Derniere Volonte 2MC boxset. The material was completely new mastered and contains the original music dating back to 1998.

This Derniere Volonte at its purest form stripped down to melancholic nihilism – with a drop of sharp misanthropy – this creates an industrial-like atmosphere of a destroyed countryside. On this release you can hear the basics of what later became the military pop duo.
