:Obituary of the Americas: is a slow creeping, noise-layered journey through some dark hearts. Dark noisy beats are the rhythms for the decay and resistance of those involved, examined out of multiple angles and perspectives – the campesino, the elite soldier, the self-defense man, the drug-lord or the comon criminal, with harsh aggressive outbreaks of noise driven electronic assaults – the list could be endless and it is! Today is the same as yesterday, it is world without a tomorrow!

In 2011 the world is challenged by wellknown old and antic patterns and presumed economic reasons. That of military contractors – whether it have been the cretian archers, the celtic cavlery, the germanic body guards, the swiss guards – muslim or christian motivated soldiers, spartans and greeks – european or asian – UN – Forces or private contractors – those people always seeked more than money – the record here deals with the overall topic of mercenary or more. Like always Genocide Organ’s music is straight forward – expanding all genres and categories. A powerful assault and aggressive undertone interchanges with a dense depressive mood – all tracks are new but have been partly played live during their last live appearance.

With sound material recorded between 1985 and 1990, this self-titled album was originally intended for release in Japan in 1990 as Genocide Organ’s second LP, and is the missing link between “Leichenlinie” and “Save Our Slaves”. Some tracks have appeared before but the album is presented now as a whole for the first time on CD to commemorate the first live appearance of Genocide Organ in Tokyo, Japan on March 1, 2003.

GNIPAHÅLAN is one of the main projects of Swartadauþuz – lynchpin of Ancient Records and also in such esteemed cults as GREVE, BEKËTH NEXËHMÜ, Trolldom, Musmahhu, Azelisassath, Digerdöden, Mystik, Summum, and Daudadagr among many others – handling all voices, strings, and synths and various session drummers. As GNIPAHÅLAN, modernity is choked dead in favor of staunch ‘n’ strict mid-’90s classicism, specifically the retroactively-applied “second wave” of black metal across Scandinavia. With half a dozen demos, a couple splits, an EP, and a debut album from 2016, Swartadauþuz and cohorts have pursued a breathtaking vision of boundless traditionalism draped in hues of purple (and purple-blue).

One of the most notorious names in the still-thriving Finnish black metal scene, GOATMOON has been an uber-prolific force of iron will since the band’s creation in 2002, all guided by the monomaniacal hand of BlackGoat Gravedesecrator. The band’s earliest efforts were extremely raw and punk-oriented, but it was with 2007’s Finnish Steel Stormwhere GOATMOON truly came into its own, exhibiting a sense of refinement rarely heard in such hateful-yet-epic black metal whilst retaining its core identity, and a title by which BlackGoat Gravedesecrator has fulfilled on all successive recordings. Of them, the subsequent third and fourth albums – 2011’s Varjotand 2014’s Voitto tai Valhalla, respectively – saw GOATMOON continue that refinement with equally compelling results, and in the process garner a more fanatic fanbase…and further infamy.
