Ulvmonddomānen stands on a crescent sound constant linking the old world to primordial forces and transformation, clothed in the shadows of the damned ancient shrines that once served in the wheel of the mystical world. This garment is constituted beyond the nocturnal veil of the lunar forces and traditional mythology, the diabolical appearance of the sacred mirrors of the underworld and the cathartic transformation of the Being into the fiery beast, dominated by the venomous intellect and the perpetual cold of distant lands. Each of the hymns-legends has an auræs of old grimoires haunted by the sinister veil of the fullmoon whispers, wrapped by a completely different revelations and much more complex devilish orchestration than the beginnings of “Stronghold of Majestic Ruins” a refined but powerful setting that highlights the glorious reflections of the time of past hordes. It would be in these early ages that Wampyric Rites would create a selection of its most infamous incantations, with the cruel clarity of Inferna Profundus Records bringing one of these nosferatu necromancies to acolytes for savour upon barbed tongue of the sanguine once again.

Eight songs across 37 minutes are more than sufficient to paint the atmospheres and sensations that seemingly exist out of time. The album’s no less raw nor polished than it needs to be; rather, it IS, unyielding and undying.

Parting ways with HETROERTZEN in late 2021, bassist Ham continued down a path of his own, and as the sole composer “Tristan Moreau”, he founded DER TRAUERSCHWAN the same year in the Swedish town Västerås.
The debut album “Sanguinare Vampiris” is the completion of poetry & song that was written during the past two pandemic years.
Inspired by the English poets of the romantic era, lyrical themes explore the naked diary of a vampire, and while musically a bleak conjunction between 90’s black- and doom metal, the harmonic teachings of classical musical theory also have a certain impact.
With influences reaching from Summoning to My Dying Bride, DER TRAUERSCHWAN provides a unique blend of somber doom- and black metal, with vampiric-themed lyrics expressed through haunting songwriting.
