Black Metal

We are proud to present, for the first time in over 25 years, the official repress of one of the most controversial and debated records ever to emerge from the Black Metal scene.

Originally released in 2000 on music cassette format through the legendary White Records label, WAR has long been out of print, attaining an almost mythological status among collectors and devotees.

Comprising eight tracks, the album stands as a relentless sonic assault: triumphant battle hymns built upon icy riffs, martial rhythms, and an atmosphere charged with ideological tension and primordial fury. The minds behind this work are the members of Nokturnal Mortum, here pushing both sound and concept to their extreme limits, forging an album that still resonates today with unsettling force and unmistakable identity.

WAR is not merely a record—it is a statement, a sonic manifesto embodying the most raw and divisive essence of Black Metal, anticipating and influencing many of the genre’s later stylistic and thematic evolutions. Its direct aggression, combined with a sharp and provocative lyrical imagery, continues to make it an essential reference point for those seeking the most uncompromising roots of the scene.

Now carefully remastered for the LP format, this remarkable album is finally available again in a presentation worthy of its legendary status.

Available in Red, White, and Black vinyl versions.

Meticulously remastered – special jacket with UV spot finish and embossing. Thick insert featuring all lyrics, enhanced with UV spot and embossing.

A special edition for a truly special album—one that, even today, has lost none of its power to provoke, divide, and strike. A must-have for collectors and for anyone willing to confront one of the most radical expressions of Black Metal.
