Kahlkopf (CH) – Der Metzger GOLD LP

28.88

RAC/Oi!

In 1987, the band Kahlkopf released their debut album “Der Metzger” on Rock-O-Rama Records. The title of the same name quickly developed into one of the group’s best-known and at the same time most controversial songs. With its haunting imagery and often aggressive lyrics, “The Butcher” became a distinctive battle cry. The controversial content of the song addressed left-wing violence, criticism of immigration policy in Germany as well as partying and drinking – topics that Kahlkopf had already covered on her first demo tapes. Thanks to its release on Rock-O-Rama, the Bad Homburgers’ LP was widely distributed.
