Black Metal

Named after the promethean angels that sinned against God in the Apocrypha, GRIGORIEN was originally conceived in 2006 by Spedalsk and Benedictus as a tool for uncompromising hate propaganda and a call to violence against religion and in particular the Abrahamitic three. Starting in 2007, a demo was released every three years, and then, in 2015, came a split with Danish comrades Ligfaerd. Thereafter, silence…until now.

At long last, GRIGORIEN are set to release their full-length debut, Magtens Evangelium. With a lineup that presently includes vocals by Spedalsk (who also lends his voice to Witchcult), guitars and bass by Benedictus (who also plays bass in Witchcult and Ligfaerd), and drums by Geistaz (who has the solo project GEISTAZ’IKA), GRIGORIEN hereby encompass past, present, and future with their vintage black metal ultraviolence.

Industrial

Grim is the one-man project of Jun Konagaya – formed from the ashes of White Hospital, his legendary early 1980s noise duo with Tomosada Kuwahara – which, accepting a long hiatus in the middle, has bridged the worlds of industrial music, power electronics, and noise for nearly three decades. Belonging roughly to the first wave of Japanese noise, Konagaya is particularly noteworthy among his peers for casting an eye further afield, drawing influences from bands like Whitehouse and SPK, rather than members of his own scene, as well varied reference points as far afield as the traditional folk music of Tibet. That understood, nothing was likely to prepare the context of Japanese noise for what was delivered by his 1987 EP “Message”.

The 1993 studio demo of raw, cold and obscure Norwegian Black Metal, now presented as single-sided 12″ with screen printed B-side. Released in cooperation with Neseblod Records. Grimm was a short lived side project of Carpathian Forest members and CF session member, Grimm. This is the first official vinyl edition of this cult demo.

Grógaldr is the carnal compilation of this entity’s grim conception. A litany of heresies unshackled and let loose one last time before the grimoires of Grógaldr are finally brought to a close. A ravishing onslaught of tortuous tenacity, Grógaldr favours the sounds of an endless fury here, delivering a blistering percussive framework of perpetual blast beats and flesh weeping tremolo entropy—these sections contrasted by breakdown of blood and hallucinogenic soundscapes of hissing guitar torment reverb feedback. Hypnosis of hellfire and void of wandering, Grógaldr may very well be the only chance to obtain these occult orations upon vinyl wax, before they are sealed away again, this time, for an eternity.

GRYFTIGÆN returns after the shattering of peace and light with the Debut LP “Graven Til Måneåpenbaringer” that was delivered by Inferna Profundus Records. A new Full-Length embodiment of aggression and carnage. “Fehunðyrdauðr” offers seven tracks of soulless and raw black metal that parallels the sounds of true death and decay. Ferocious growling vocals that are solidified into the mortal existence with hypnotic and voided atmospheres. GRYFTIGÆN bestows unholy and dark afflictions on this piece of Raw Black Metal hatred.

Gryftigæn is consecrated in anno 2019 by “Lord Valtgryftåke” Guitars/Lyrics/Vocals. Subsequently be part “Lord Nbl Dmn III” Drums/Percussions. Through different magical sounds and spectral vibrations what characterizes as “Oneiric Nigredo” the magical articulation of this muziek is crystallized and channeled through the empyrical prisms of the Death worship-Black sorcery & Privitivism. This entity revives the ancient legacy of the 90´s dark ages in the witchcraft path, the essence is to embody itself as the sacralical acts of reverberation and the poisonous enchantment of Man. The name “Gryftigæn” consists of two ancient words fragmented from the Poisonous that is described in Germanic texts and ancient words from Proto-escandinavian themes referred to “Place of rest or Buried

Stepping from reeds of golden light as seven circles of silver illuminate the sky in blessed circles of the Daughter, comes Lithuthian black folk romantics, Ha Lela, whose brief existence in the mid 90’s produced a treasury of magical and mythical incantations—each more steeped in the deep mythology of their homeland than the last. The final stroke of sorcery unleashed by this large host of raganos and laumes was Pabudimas, a swan song of such striking beauty, that it draws forth tears from mortal acolytes as would a golden milkmaid draw celestial milk from the skybound heifer. Never before was this hidden treasure put forth upon vinyl wax—until now—which, through the sublime sunblessed divinity of GoatowaRex iron fist worship, this trove of wonders can now be drawn into the dawn of morning once again.

Nuclear War Now! is proud to announce an agreement to officially reissue the first two albums of Hades (Nor), “…Again Shall Be” (1994) and “The Dawn of the Dying Sun” (1997) on all relevant formats, including DLP / CD / cassette / digital. In an effort to most completely document Hades’ early output, “…Again Shall Be” will include the “Alone Walkyng” demo from 1993 in its entirety as bonus tracks, and “The Dawn of the Dying Sun” will include two additional bonus tracks from the era. Is working directly with the band and Jon of Full Moon Productions, who released the original versions, in order to produce the highest-quality reissues to honor the legacy of one of Norway’s most significant black metal bands.
