  • Departure Chandelier (CAN) – Antichrist Rise To Power LP 28.88

    Black Metal

Antichrist Rise to Power is a violent declaration of allegiance to the Emperor’s dominion, from the mud-covered skeletons of Marengo to the jagged cliffs of St. Helena. The noble acceptance of forced exile, the inescapable chill of the prison cell, and the cruel rush of combat all fill the aristocrat’s appetite for his boundless quest for honor. Napoleon’s coronation—the Anti-Christ’s ascent—left the earth damp with the crimson blood of elitism.

  • Departure Chandelier (CAN) – Satan Soldier Of Fortune LP 30.88

    Black Metal

With their second album, “Satan Soldier of Fortune”, Departure Chandelier weave in reverse order the process of Napoleonic battlefield cleanup against self-coronation and the emperor’s ascent to deity whom profited off the fallen of both sides. While the dying are stripped naked to fertilize the countryside, boots and teeth are hurriedly taken for sale in Paris. Blood soaked coins fill the grave robber’s purse, the jangling song heard all the way to Notre Dame. Against the backdrop of the throne Illuminated by the bivouac fires, fallen men, horses and cannon wagons churn like twisted celtic knots across the sea of the battlefield as the coronation begins. Dressed in the gown of swarming Merovingian bees, a wreath of laurel arched above his skull, the Regent diamond flashes in the hilt of the Antichrist’s saber encrusted on the gold scepter – rising in his hand, yet unable to support the weight of Charlemagne’s crown. What is dark if Lucifer’s light? Compositionally wild but rich in melody, the band’s unique combination of perched guitars and impending choral keyboards beneath raw unhinged vocals spearheading lyrics of existential rebellion captures the necro sound of old French black metal. The arrangements are shorn of needless complexity, yet greater than the sum of their parts purportedly recorded on the same 4-track with the old distortions and synths used on ‘Antichrist Rise To Power’ now immortalized on their Occult Anti-quities imprint. Indeed, nearly five years in the making, Their Death Is Alive Again!

  • Departure Chandelier (USA) – The Black Crest Of Death, The Gold Wreath Of War LP 28.88

    Black Metal

Originally released in 2011 on the Tour de Garde label, Departure Chandelier’s demo recording, “The Black Crest of Death, the Gold Wreath of War,” was recorded in 2010, a year after “Antichirst Rise To Power,” the band’s recently released debut full-length completed in 2009. With slightly heavier production than the album—an intentional act by the band—this demo nevertheless achieves the same atmosphere, one defined by the inherent discord between the visceral body of the songs and the ornate melodies reflected in the poignant interplay of guitars and keyboards, in which one hears the influence of O.T.A.L. and Strid. Musically and conceptually, Departure Chandelier explore the dichotomous relationship connecting unbridled freedom and the concomitant lust for power with tyranny and despotism.

  • Der Trauerschwan (SWE) – Sanguinare Vampiris LP 26.88

    Black Metal

Parting ways with HETROERTZEN in late 2021, bassist Ham continued down a path of his own, and as the sole composer “Tristan Moreau”, he founded DER TRAUERSCHWAN the same year in the Swedish town Västerås.

The debut album “Sanguinare Vampiris” is the completion of poetry & song that was written during the past two pandemic years.

Inspired by the English poets of the romantic era, lyrical themes explore the naked diary of a vampire, and while musically a bleak conjunction between 90’s black- and doom metal, the harmonic teachings of classical musical theory also have a certain impact.
With influences reaching from Summoning to My Dying Bride, DER TRAUERSCHWAN provides a unique blend of somber doom- and black metal, with vampiric-themed lyrics expressed through haunting songwriting.

  • Dernière Volonté (FRA) – Le Feu Sacre LP 26.88

    Synth Pop / Industrial

First released in 2000 comes now re-mastered and with new coverartwork.

Vinyl comes in black vinyl and LE250 mint vinyl with printed innersleeve and the CD in catchy foldout cover and booklet.

Derniere Volonte is an artist that has been evolving over the years, starting from 1998 with the thematic limited cassette release “Obeir et mourir” which was an historical snapshot of a particular place in time.

However, in the millennium the level of standards were raised with their so called debut album “Le Feu Sacre”, which brought us a beating, martial rhythms and gloomy keyboard patterns, combined with orchestral samples, and of course Geoffrey D.’s characteristic voice and French vocals. The environment that formed without relying on the tricks of the trade is what really piqued interest. The beauty of this particular release lay in its simplicity and originality.
Very outstanding that time and 21 years later still a masterpiece.

  • Deströyer 666 (AUS) – Unchain the Wolves LP 28.88

    Black Metal

DESTROYER 666 should need no introduction. But back in 1997, the Australians were a relatively new entity, forming from the ashes of Bestial Warlust and introducing themselves to the metal underground with the Violence is the Prince of This World EP in ’95. Two years later, DESTROYER 666 would throw down the gauntlet to the international metal scene with soon-to-be-classic debut album Unchain the Wolves. Devastating yet dynamic to the bitter, bloody end, Unchain the Wolves comprises 50 minutes of black metal magick ‘n’ might that quickly became the band’s ever-unique trademark: epic and anthemic songwriting, gritty yet considered execution, and each song as integral as the last. Just try not headbanging to stone-cold classics like “Australian and Anti-Christ” and “Satan’s Hammer”; if you don’t, then you must be dead.

    Black Metal

On ‘Kosmocide’, the band stretches their musical influences even further than before, drawing inspirations from classic Black Metal acts, whilst still being able to maintain the ‘Deus Mortem-sound’ we’ve come to know over the years. Its epic, its aggressive, lightning fast as well as dynamic and structured, the album displays worldclass musicianship, crowned with masterful production by M./Mgla and stunning artworks by Artem Grigoryev and Ihasan Art. ‘Kosmocide’ is an esoteric journey, through tragedies, death and destruction of universal laws – straight to the womb of the raging Chaos.
