Megaptera (SWE) – Near Death LP €28.88
Industrial
Urashima’s vinyl reissue captures the essence of “Near Death” in its purest form. The tactile experience of placing the needle on the vinyl and allowing the album to unfold as intended by the artists adds a new dimension to the sonic journey. The haunting melodies and unsettling textures resonate even more powerfully, making this reissue not just a reproduction but a revival of the album’s visceral impact.

Melechesh (ISR) – Djinn MARBLE LP €24.88
Black Metal
For over 25 years now, MELECHESH have been crafting a singular sound that encompasses black metal, death metal, and most uniquely, Middle Eastern folk music. That they were Israel’s most known black metal export is only part of the MELECHESH story, for that story would mean nothing if there weren’t classic albums to back it up. Of them, the band’s three-album run on OSMOSE in the early/mid 2000s – Djinn, Sphynx, and Emissaries – is widely considered to be the band’s best work.

Midnight Bethroted (AUS) – Death...My Faithful Bride MARBLE LP €30.88
Black Metal
Midnight Betrothed (AUS) presents its second full-length album, “Death…My Faithful Bride”, containing six new tracks of dark romanticism in praise of moonlit tragedy and forlorn love.
Fronted by The Seer (Lament in Winter’s Night, Vrörsaath etc.), Midnight Betrothed further refines its unique blend of ‘Sombre Romantic Black Metal’ throughout this sophomore album, bringing forth overtures of funeral erotica and deathly fantasia.

Midnight Bethroted (AUS) – Dreamless LP €28.88
Black Metal
After two excellent demos the Australian solo-project returns with an equally captivating debut album. Mastermind The Seer calls his music Sombre Romantic Black Metal, while we prefer the label Neoclassical Necro Synth for its unique combination of raw vocals and the dominant piano that makes Midnight Betrothed something totally outstanding in today’s scene. If you are a sucker for dark romanticism and want something altogether different that probably hasn’t been done in this fashion before, Midnight Betrothed may be the band for you.

Mightiest (DEU) / Depressive Silence (DEU) – The Recreation of the Shadowlands / Depressive Silence DLP €38.88
Black Metal / Dungeon Synth
The veterans Mightiest, hailing from Freiburg, or rather from the western Black Forest, are not known to everyone. The guys from Mightiest have been involved in the black metal underground since the early 90s. With “The Recreation of the Shadowlands” a melodic black metal masterpiece accompanied by ambient/dungeon synth elements was created. There are epic moments in the guitar riffs that cast a spell and bring out the darkest chambers of your soul.
Depressive Silence enjoy a much larger fan base, especially since many of their releases served as a precursor and source of inspiration for countless dungeon synth projects (of course not only) and still serve to this day. Even then, RAL and B.S. had a preference for theatrical, melancholic and dreamy keyboard sounds

Minenwerfer (USA) – Alpenpässe MARBLE DLP €32.88
Black Metal
Since their formation in 2007, MINENWERFER have pursued a proud ‘n’ pure vision of black metal idiosyncratically focused on World War I – idiosyncratic, in the sense that the band hail from America but mostly sing in German. What has resulted is a startlingly accomplished canon that has quietly built itself into prolific proportions, with their first album arriving in 2010, followed by albums in 2012 and 2019, and a slew of split releases and EPs in the interim.
That third album, Alpenpässe, is arguably MINENWERFER’s grandest work yet. While seven years separated it from its full-length predecessor, Nihilistischen, the payoff was well worth it: its six songs in nearly an hour are towers of incomparable might. Everything here is free and flowing, with the bountifully rising/falling melodies pulling at the listener’s heartstrings and casting an ominous (and eminently playable) spell that simply needs to be experienced to be believed. This is MINENWERFER at their most powerful and poignant.

Minenwerfer (USA) – Der Rote Kampfflieger GOLD LP €26.88
Of those many short-length releases, Der Rote Kampfflieger is the oldest and perhaps most curious. Here, MINENWERFER offered the new track “Ace of Aces,” the reworked “Albatros in Flammen,” and two very surprising covers: deep martial industrial artist Striider’s “Schüzengraben” and legendary shredder Yngwie J. Malmsteen’s early scorcher “I am a Viking.” MINENWERFER for sure have their own identifiable sound.

Minenwerfer (USA) – Kriegserklärung LP €26.88
Of those many short-length releases, Kriegserklärung can conveniently be seen as a companion to an album release – in this case, 2012’s thick-yet-throttling Nihilistischen. And yet, where that album saw MINENWERFER inching closer to a palatable professionalism, the 24-minute Kriegserklärung fully bursts through those doors with a startling clarity, setting the stage for the band’s grand 2019 full-length, Alpenpäesse.

Minenwerfer (USA) – Volkslieder LP €24.88
That first album, Volkslieder, was a throttling first introduction to MINENWERFER’s unique world. Grim and violent but not short on grace, Volkslieder indeed conveyed a folkish element that was by turns tragic and triumphant. And while the duo’s foot was firmly on the accelera to here, it never sacrificed strong songwriting, with those icy-hot melodies searing the soul during every successive spin.
