  • Embryonic Slumber (FIN) – In Worship our Blood is Buried LP 26.88

    Black Metal

Hailing from Finland, while EMBRYONIC SLUMBER may be a brand-new entity in name, the duo are longtime veterans of the underground: VARGRAV / DRUADAN FOREST mainman V-Khaoz and Hellwind Inferion, an incredibly prolific drummer but more recently known as the vocalist for both Sargeist and Desolate Shrine. And while what they create together as EMBRYONIC SLUMBER may show slight shades of their collective pasts, the resulting recording – the full-length In Worship Our Blood is Buried, the band’s bolt-from-the-blue debut – handily transcends comparisons altogether.

    Comes with poster and insert

  • Empyrium (DEU) – A Wintersunset… GOLD LP 30.88

    Black Metal

With its gloomy and epic Dark Metal, Empyrium’s first release isn’t only the groundwork of Schwadorf’s further musical creativity. «A Wintersunset …» was also the starting signal for the label Prophecy Productions, as the name «Prophecy» had previously just been in use for a mail-order.

  • Empyrium (DEU) – Songs Of Moors And Misty Fields ORANGE LP 30.88

    Black Metal

A masterpiece of monumental and bombastic Dark Romantic Metal.

With “Songs Of Moors And Misty Fields” (1997), Schwadorf perfected his dark Metal full of classical Romanticism and traditional folklore. The album relates back to the band’s debut “A Wintersunset …”, but also delivers the blue-print for their later development into more tranquil folk sceneries.

  • Empyrium (DEU) – Über den Sternen DLP 34.88

    Black Metal / Neofolk

With their sixth full-length, “Über den Sternen”, an allegorical German rendering of their band name meaning “Above the Stars”, EMPYRIUM still draw from the magic and spirits of wild places, nature’s beauty, and human relics of ages long past. “Über den Sternen” echoes this reconciliation of the old with the new on a musical level as well. The Franconian duo is putting more emphasis on the electric guitars and harsh vocals again, which marked their first two albums and stood strong upon the band’s melodic black metal foundations. Yet EMPYRIUM also revisit the dark folk style, which the Germans had progressively embraced on their third and fourth albums.

  • Empyrium ‎(DEU) – …Der Wie Ein Blitz Vom Himmel Fiel BROWN LP 26.88

    BLACK METAL

EMPYRIUM first played melodic black metal and only later shifted to dark folk. “… Der wie ein Blitz vom Himmel fiel …” (“he who fell from the sky like lightning”) was recorded on December 19, 1994, and released earlier in the following year. The Germans’ first demo cassette, which became an underground success just by word of mouth in times before the internet, not only marked the beginning of a lifelong career in music for mastermind Schwadorf; it also triggered the foundation of Prophecy Productions and Klangschmiede Studio E, both becoming internationally renowned in their own right, but also served as a template for black-metal-infused sounds with lyrics inspired by the wonders and mysteries of nature that were picked up by many a band that came afterwards.

  • Emyn Muil (ITA) – Afar Angathfark SPLATTER DLP 36.88

    Black Metal

“Afar Angathfark”, Emyn Muil’s third and most magnificent album to date, is inspired by the character of Fëanor and his war against Morgoth to claim back his Silmarils. A dark story of oaths and fratricide, and about an epic journey. Fans of bands like Summoning or Caladan Brood will find much to enjoy on this monumental release, and we highly recommend it to them!

As usual, mastermind Nartum also created all graphics for the album artwork and layout himself, resulting in a stunning 8-panel digipack for the limited CD edition (first press with black polycarbonate disc), a great looking album shirt as well as a beautiful gatefold cover with printed innersleeves, coloured vinyl and A2 poster for the limited DLP.

  • Endstufe (DEU) – Der Clou LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

How-please-what?! Rock-O-Rama Records has re-released “Der Clou” and surely half of the songs are missing? Nope, just a song. Four songs had to be minimally edited digitally. Prosecutors, youth protectors and “democracy promoters” (all male/female/male) will vomit. And with what? Rightly! Please move on, there is nothing to see or find anything criminally relevant here.

With “Der Clou” in 1987, Endstufe released a real album of the century in the Oi! / Skinhead music sector, but the distribution of the record was abruptly stopped a few years later. A federal authority responsible for morality and decency found in the 12 panel that this record was unsuitable for young people and “socio-ethically disorienting.” Or as we would say: “The Clou” is the ultimate soundtrack for everyone who has and lives the feeling that they don’t fit into the norm and celebrate their non-conformity hard!

  • Endstufe (DEU) – Skinhead RocknRoll LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

The Easter Bunny has laid a very big egg in our nest: The next milestone in the final discography, hot off the press from the Rock-O-Rama record factory, directly to your gift table. The second power amplifier album “Skinhead Rock’n’Roll” was forced to disappear into obscurity for a “good” 30 years. Now it has risen like the Phoenix from the ashes to spin blissfully on your turntable.

Two songs were dropped compared to the 1st edition, three new songs were added. Two of them were recorded with this album at the time, but were released for singles or samplers. Both are now included on this disc, plus another bonus track. The nine songs at the time became ten on this edition of “Skinhead Rock’n’Roll”, Edition 2023, four of which had to be minimally edited digitally.

  • Endstufe (DEU) / Volksgemurmel (DEU) – Allzeit Bereit LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

The two Bremen bands Endstufe and Volksgemurmel crash into the music salon of the interested audience with six songs each. They perform catchy melodies with meaningful lyrics. In addition, the originally rather dull mix with relatively quiet vocals shines in new splendor thanks to the vinyl mastering. This time everything can be heard clearly and clearly and the sound now finally has the right rough thump – in contrast to “back in the day”. If you still want to read the lyrics of the old tunes in black and white, the text sheet (with photos of both bands) is attached. By the way, the final stage tracks on this production are a bit livelier and more aggressive than the material on the “Skinhead Rock ‘n’ Roll” album, which was released in the same year. But that’s just by the way.
