Ûkcheânsâlâwit (CAN) – Mjijaqamij LP €25.88
Black Metal
Ûkcheânsâlâwit summon a shamanistic meditation diving into an animalistic psyche hidden within.
Haunting vocals initially exist at the edges of perception prior to meeting a solemn softly sung guide.
The ritualistic journey continues through grandiose guitar built landscapes embellished by ethereal synth melodies.
A penultimate track drifts closest to an accustomed expression of the genre, whereas the final song exists as a reflection of the whole album’s mystic escape to the last earthly frontier. In stock

Ulver (NOR) – Vargnatt CD €16.88
Black Metal
This edition of Ulver’s Vargnatt marks 30 years since the original release of this classic 1993 demo.
Norwegian act Ulver rose to prominence from a more black metal-rooted background in their early years, to becoming widely known for high-calibre soundscapes and exquisite experimental and electronic art as part of their continual and ever-shifting evolution.
With a penchant for folklore-laced black metal in their formative years, and with what could be considered even then to be eclectic and unconventional compositions compared to the more raw and primitive offerings from other arising acts in the scene at the time, Ulver made a big mark on the genre since their formation in the early 90s, spawning a unique and celebrated trilogy of early works which arrived in quick succession, starting with their monumental 1995 debut, ‘Bergtatt’, before the more serene acoustic-driven experience of ‘Kveldssanger’ the following year, and completed by the more feral and ferocious outpouring of ‘Nattens Madrigal’ in 1997.In stock

Umbra Conscientia (DEU) – Yellowing of the Lunar Consciousness LP €26.88
Black Metal
UMBRA CONSCIENTIA is a new project debuting on Terratur Possessions. Six tracks of extremely intense, well crafted, direct and aggressive Black Metal not unlike the greats such as Katharsis and Funeral Mist, but yet maintaining it’s own identity. I’m not a big fan of comparing bands and name dropping other acts, but seeing how this is a brand new band and release, I figured it couldn’t hurt to name two obvious inspirations to catch people’s attention out there. It’s truly an album worth checking out.

Unaussprechlichen Kulten (CHI) – Häxan Sabaoth DIGI-CD €15.88
Black Metal
By now, UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN require little introduction. For nearly 25 years, this Chilean cult have built a commanding canon of eldritch death metal DARKNESS. From their early demos to later splits and especially their preceding five full-lengths – not least of which, 2014’s Baphomet Pan Shub-Niggurath, 2017’s Keziah Lilith Medea (Chapter X), and 2019’s Teufelsbücher, all released by IRON BONEHEAD to widespread critical acclaim – UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN have explored the furthest reaches of primordial dread and ancient mysticism, all through pure ‘n’ authentic Metal of Death. That their vision has only become more intense and mesmerizing, after so many years (and when so many bands sputter to obsolescence), is some strange magick indeed…

Ungfell (CH) – Es Grauet CD €13.88
Black Metal
On their third full-length album, “Es grauet”, Ungfell abducts listeners on a sonic journey detailing moral ambivalence and treachery. Set in a seemingly idyllic rural village in pre-modern times, all is not as it seems. Tragedy strikes the town in the form of a horrific, grisly murder. Unfounded accusations lead the town further astray, while these occurrences of debauchery exceed the comprehension of the local inhabitants. Alas, evil lurks where you may least expect it… The story unfolds, accompanied by ravaging riffs and gripping songwriting that appropriately underline the complex, yet harrowing narrative. “Es grauet” shows Ungfell at their most ambitious and most audacious, featuring incredibly dynamic and warm production values, emphasizing atmosphere even more than previous releases, and managing to compliment the story being told.
