Snix (FRA) – Quand Le Soleil Se Levera LP €26.88
RAC/Oi!
In the 1980s, France produced a number of impressive Oi! bands that stood out for their energy, authenticity and passion. One of the most outstanding representatives of this genre was undoubtedly the formation, which originally consisted of three brothers – Didier (vocals), Boni (drums) and Manu (bass) – as well as a childhood friend, Fred (guitar). Their 1986 record “Quand Le Soleil Se Levera” (Eng: When the Sun Rises) is a milestone of the French Oi!. Recorded in Lille, the band’s hometown, the album combines raw Oi!/Punk with catchy melodies and engaging lyrics. Classics like “Ces Annes La”, “Europe” and “Clockwork Orange” show the group’s versatility and their ability to captivate the listener.

Solanum (DEU) – Spectral Poetry DIGI-CD €16.88
Dungeon Synth
Solanum was founded by B.S. back in 1997 after Depressive Silence split up. Compared to Depressive Silence Solanum’s concept is more cosmic and its sound has a different, rather uplifting and more futuristic atmosphere, but like Depressive Silence the Solanum demos are genre classics and provided a considerable influence for later Dungeon Synth and Cosmic Black Metal projects.
So it is a great honour for Northern Silence to be able to reissue both Solanum demos, remastered for optimal sound, and for the first time ever with exclusive artworks by master artist David Thiérée.

Solmania (JPN) – Erosion LP €23.88
Noise
Formed in 1984, Solmania is a music experimental project of Masahiko ”Masaki” Ohno and is one of the earliest amazing noise projects out of Japan. Pushing far beyond expectations of free improvisation, Masahiko weaves blistering passages that incorporate touchstones from progressive , punk, metal, noise, and drone, into more intricate movements of dystopian avant-gardism, culminating as a strikingly forward-thinking expanse of sonic creativity that pushing toward uncharted ground.
Erosion captures an astounding concert at Eggplant, in Osaka May 15th 1987, recorded at the venue, using guitar, tape, radio, metal, turntable and voice and published on cassette by Solmania own legendary label Fatagaga Tapes the same year in very limited edition. Fully remastered from the original analog tapes, vinyl is comprising a single, extended work over two sides, for about 30 minutes where the artist dives into one of the most joyous and tense musical expressions to have emerged during that decade, generating dense, trance-inducing guitar drones that seem to touch the eternal, washing the ear in rich overtones and harmonics embellishments that transcend their sources – the original instrument – in uncanny ways.In stock

Sorcier Des Glaces (CAN) – Snowland MMXII CD €14.88
Black Metal
Snowland MMXII” is the complete re-recording of the first Sorcier Des Glaces album “Snowland”.
The band wanted to give an updated vision of their very first work, as they thought the original one had great riffs and atmosphere, but was poorly executed and recorded. They managed to preserve the rawness and the primitive essence that characterized their first album, but with a more defined sound and production values. Also, Sorcier Des Glaces didn’t use any keyboards on “Snowland MMXII” in opposite to the original 1997 “Snowland”. SDG don’t use keyboards anymore in their songs since the third album (The Puressence of Primitive Forests), so that re-recorded version of Snowland is more in tune with the actual sound of the band.
