  • Odal (DEU) – Welten Mutter BLUE/SILVER LP 32.88

    Black Metal

Triumphant and tragic, Odal returns with its 5th album ‘Welten Mutter’.
Honest and pure black metal at its poignant best, ripp(l)ing with a melodicism that’s graceful and heartstrings-pulling but never overwrought. An eternal flame seems to burn over and under all here, as energy is not in short supply, but dynamics are never sacrificed in the process; the interplay between the longstanding duo of Taaken and A.D.D. is fluid and flawless, and conveys a very tangible urgency that makes each of these seven rousing hymns even more breathtaking.

  • Odins Erben (DEU) ‎– Asgard, Wir Kommen! BROWN LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

The official Odins Erben re-release on the original label – no pirated pressing, no “private edition” and no “imported fan edition” from dubious scene crooks at brothel prices!

The second disk of the North Wind Forerunner group Odins Erben. As usual, very appealing fare with texts from life. “Warriors of the North” and “Bureaucrats” make the disc a blast. If you want to be completely sorted when it comes to Nordwind, you also need this predecessor album, which is considered an early and standard work in Viking rock in Germany.

  • Odins Erben (DEU) ‎– Helden Sterben Einsam LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

Still a real hit today! Odin’s Erben are known to be the Nordwind forerunner band. With this debut, the group was able to achieve their first real success and prove their reputation as Germany’s No. 1 Viking Rock Band. “Helden sterben einsam” was a soothing musical “splash of colour” in the otherwise grey-in-grey knitted right rock market of those days.

  • Odium (NOR) – The Sad Realm of the Stars CD 16.88

    Black Metal

Odium is a name that hasn’t been talked about much in the symphonic black metal scene. Formed in 1994, the Norwegian band didn’t release much besides a demo, a single, and their only studio album “The Sad Realm of the Stars”. The 1998 album received little recognition when it was first released since it was seen as more of a Limbonic Art knockoff. However, when you give the album a listen, you’ll see that it’s more than just a cheap ripoff of Limbonic Art. Not only does it expand upon the Limbonic Art sound, but it also stands out in its own ways.

  • Oes Galliath (FRA) – Sous l’Oeil Fermé des Paradis PURPLE DLP 34.88

    Black Metal

Return of these French black metal mavericks after 10-year hiatus.

From nauseous black metal to sheer acoustic contemplation, psychedelic leads, and soaring arrangements, Oes Galliath’s swansong is an act of defiance in itself.

A ghastly testament of escapism from the industrial suburbs of Paris. A death letter to the ancient world. An ode to spiritual awakening and personal growth.

  • Ofermod (SWE) – Mysterium Iniquitatis DIGI-CD 16.88

    Black Metal

By now, OFERMOD should require no introduction. Formed back in the dark days of 1996, the band released their debut EP, Mystérion Tés Anomias, in 1998. Although a mere two songs, OFERMOD’s opening salvo sowed the seeds for the orthodox black metal movement that would begin to blossom in the new millennium, alongside fellow SHADOW RECORDS alumni FUNERAL MIST and MALIGN. Crime and chaos followed mainman Belfagor everywhere he went, and the band’s momentum remained halted. However, OFERMOD eventually became a working entity again, starting with 2008’s Tiamtü full-length, and through magick and will did more recordings follow: Thaumiel (2012), the two-song Serpents’ Dance EP (2014), Sol Nox (2017), and the posthumous Pentagrammaton, originally intended to be the band’s debut album. Each one put forth a pivotal piece of the ever-evolving puzzle of OFERMOD – ever the same, yet always different.

  • OHL (DEU) – Heimatfront LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

OHL, the pioneers of “hardcore punk”, attracted maximum attention with their debut album “Heimatfront” in 1981, which was partly due to their polarizing lyrics. Titles like “Germany”, “Kernkraftknight”, “We are the Unrepaired” or “Embassy Song”, which openly called for the storming of the American embassy, did the rest to spread the word in all ideological directions. However, this was not well received by hotheads on the left and right. When the record was made in the early 1980s, punks were already oriented towards the left of the political spectrum, while skinheads were committed to the right. Although the band was considered “Nazis” by leftists and “ticks” by rightists, the Supreme Army Command, or rather their mastermind Deutscher W, never let themselves be dissuaded from their chosen path – always go straight, never turn! Ok, these days certain concessions are necessary in order to get a foot on the ground in the left-green, polluted cultural world, but what does it matter to the enterprising record collector who wants to complete his personal vinyl oeuvre with this repress?

  • Old Castles (CL) – Sarcophagical Lament of the Night CD 14.88

    Black Metal

Reigning in an abysmal realm of chaos and destruction comes the reigniting of a familiar entity’s flame. OLD CASTLES fades into the shadows with another release full of chaos and atmosphere. “Sarcophagical Lament of the Past” is the next full-length offering from this project of mysticism. Lo-fi raw black metal with depressive ambience, shrouded in atmosphere and walls of sinister dissonance. A true imprecation of indefinite evil and desolation.
