One of the pioneering industrial black metal forces to emerge in the early 90’s, Mysticum brought to the world a completely unique brand of extreme & psychedelic discordant black metal with insane drum machine patterns & synths. They were originally signed to Euronymous’ Deathlike Silence Productions label, such was his belief in the band (Mysticum even featured Hellhammer from Mayhem in their line-up for a brief period). However, this venture proved to be cut short following his death, forcing Mysticum to look elsewhere for the release of their eventual debut album, ‘In the Streams of Inferno’, finally surfacing in 1996.

“Terrific recording of a Nächtlich rehearsal, in anticipation of their concert at the Summoning Of The Elder Spirits show in New York, on June 24th, 2022.
Released on home dubbed tapes for that same gig, this rehearsal was done with the full live line-up that composed that seance, playing that same setlist, consisting of tracks off of “Satanas Solum Initium Est”, their self-titled album, the “Third Ritual”, “Second Ritual of Night Worship” and self-titled EP’s.
Even more visceral than regular Nächtlich, fully recorded live in studio and onto tape, as the best of traditions, Nächtlich sounds fuller and more energetic than ever, entrancing their listeners with ritual fumes and stomping, unaplagetic primitivism, calling for the eternal reign of the dark cult. Formed in 1992, Umeå, Sweden’s black metal nihilists NAGLFAR were quite prolific at the front of their existence. After releasing their classic debut “Vittra” in 1995 it only took them until 1998 to unleash “Diabolical”. Century Media Records is making both of their quintessential first two albums available again. The 2023 Re-issues will come with liner notes and remastered by by Dan Swanö at Unisound (Opeth, Insomnium, Asphyx and many more).
