  • Vengeance (UK) – Fight For Your Life BLUE LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

Vengeance was a RAC band, an anti-communist Oi/punk band from Norwich, founded in 1985. With Daz on vocals, Tim on guitar, Rach on bass and Tom on drums, the band expressed their political views in raw sounds. Before their debut LP “Forward into War” in 1988, two demo tapes with different line-ups were released in 1986 and 1987.

Side A of the disc contains the two street rock’n’roll singles SRR 003 and SRR 004 with alternative versions of the songs “Fight for your Life”, “Working Class Hero”, “I don’t wanna know” and “Vengeance”, and the sampler track “Pride and Pain” is also included. The B-side contains the album recordings “Fight for your Life”, “Working Class Hero” and “I don’t wanna know” for direct comparison.

  • Vengeance (UK) – Forward Into War ORANGE LP 28.88

    RAC/Oi!

In 1988, “Forward Into War” was released on Herbert Egolt’s Cologne Rock-O-Rama Records label. The band originally started out as a four-piece in 1985, but then found their ideal line-up on their debut album with Tom (drums), Andy (guitar) and Vernon (bass, vocals).

On the “Forward Into War” album, Vengeance played a heavy metal-influenced sound, with an ingenious brutal voice and patriotic to nationalistic lyrics. The three British musicians created their own distinctive style, which is still unparalleled today and which, if you want, can easily be described as Oi!Core. All tracks are performed hard to brutal (with the exception of “Wake Up England”) and are of a high level. Unfortunately, singer Vernon, who was also responsible for the cover design, died in 2008. As they said, it was due to an incorrectly dosed medication. It’s always the same: Only the best die young!

  • Werwolf (DEU) – Ewige Narben LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

We heard and still hear fast and brutal skinhead rock of the medium-paced variety, without the hatecore or metal influences that are common today. At the same time, the “Eternal Scars” album, after “Vereint” in 1990 and “Schlachtruf” in 1991, marked the end of the East Westphalian music group’s musical activities. According to Wikipedia “… (the band) broke up in 1993 after a search of the then bassist’s house found 6.8 kilograms of explosives in addition to propaganda material. He was subsequently sentenced to prison.”

  • Werwolf (DEU) – Schlachtruf LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

The band, founded in Gütersloh in 1988, shone in 1991 with their second (mini) album entitled “Schlachtruf”. Although there were only seven songs on this disc, it represented a good bridge until the next full album, which was released in 1992 under the title “Eternal Scars” and at the same time marked the end of the East Westphalian music group’s musical activities. So if you want to indulge in the Pogo wise men of the time again, garnished with the criminally harmless pieces from the first LP “Vereint”, you’ve come to the right place and should grab it immediately, because as we all know, life punishes anyone who comes too late. Everything in the best vinyl sound quality (no side longer than 20 minutes)!

  • Wotan (DEU) – Die Letzten Helden LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

When this LP first saw the light of day in 1992, few people had any idea what a highly potential work was coming onto the market. Within a very short time, this album began a triumph that was unparalleled. In just a few weeks, the band’s songs caught up with the top groups in the scene at the time and had a lot to offer musically and lyrically, which of course didn’t go unnoticed by the state authorities. The following year, the disc “The Last Heroes” was classified as harmful to minors and disappeared from the market.
