  • Starcave Nebula (CAN) / Trhä (CAN) – Split LP 32.88

    Black Metal

Terrific magical alliance between two of the best hordes in the Raw Black Metal underground in the last couple years.

The Canadian maniacs in Starcave Nebula deliver a long track of blistering, ultra-lo-fi, acidic and psychotropic Improv Raw Black Metal mayhem, with askew, mind-warping riffage, and pummeling drum performance that absolutely annihilates and demolishes your ribcage .

Trhä’s first two songs offer some of their most orthodox release to date, following a more traditional approach.
Trhä still never by any means loses its magical character, otherwordly atmosphere or spirit.
These tracks follow more along the line of the “Mã Héshiva…” and “Vat gëlénva!!!” albums, with influences from bands such as Mütiilation, Mystic Forest or Manierisme.
The third track however features again a more fairytale atmosphere, with the addition of the pop-ish, upbeat synthesizers that appear in “Tálcunnana…” or “Endlhëdëhaj…”

  • StarGazer (AUS) – Psychic Secretions LP 23.88

    Death Metal

After 25 years of activity, StarGazer has firmly established itself as one of the most enduring Black/Death bands in the Australian extreme metal scene. And although they have remained continuously productive during the last quarter-century, their output is sparse, owing to the band’s meticulous approach to writing and recording. Consequently, the release of every StarGazer album is a momentous event. Recorded during the early stages of the Great Reset, “Psychic Secretions” is just the fourth full-length album in the StarGazer catalog and comes six years after their last album, the brilliant “A Merging to the Boundless.

  • Sternatis (RUS) – Blazebirth Hall CD 15.88

    Black Metal

The second release from this act from the Blazebirth Hall, a twenty-two year hibernation right after the debut demo. This circle represents the blossoming of black metal in Russia with plenty of great acts such as Braniklad, Vargleide, Forest or even Rundagor. A splendid incursion on Slavic black metal, filled with hatred but incredibly harmonious. This astonishing songwriting is brought forth through great guitar playing but amongst all, the vocals are the main reason it steps above the typical black metal.

    CD + Slipcase.

    Black Metal

FINALLY REISSUED ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ITALIAN
EPIC BLACK METAL ALBUM OF ‘90s

Year 1999: Europe was taken by storm by black metal, the leading force in extreme music. Actually, black metal has been mutating its primary grim and satanic force since the mid-90s and words such as symphonic, epic and melodic started appearing in the bands’ descriptions.

Unexpectedly from Italy came a force capable of uniting all these inputs: in summer, under the Last Episode inprint, Stormlord released their debut album “Supreme Art Of War”. The eight tracks of the record united the symphonism of bands such as Dimmu Borgir or Bal-Sagoth to melodies coming from epic and power metal and the record became a hot-topic in the European press in a couple of months.
