  • Hate Forest (UKR) – Purity CD 14.88

    Black Metal

A true legend of Slavonic Black Metal, never being part of the scene, never giving interviews or making photos, the band crafted own name with their extreme individualism and estrangement.
HATE FOREST’s music can be described as grim, cold, aggressive and straightforward black metal, mostly very fast with low, distorted vocals and dark ambient elements.
The band’s lyrics are heavily influenced by Scythian and Slavic legends, the mythology of H. P. Lovecraft, and the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche.
In 2009 Osmose Productions and HATE FOREST members sign a deal to re-issue all the back catalog of the band, and here the second album.

Re-issue, completely revisited, CD jewel case edition.

  • Immortal (NOR) – Damned In Black RED LP 28.88

    Black Metal

Originally released in the year 2000, IMMORTAL kicked off the new millennium in grand style with Damned in Black. Due to their increasingly hectic touring schedule, the band welcomed bassist Iscariah into the fold fulltime, and Damned in Black marked his first recording with IMMORTAL. Likewise, the album followed the transitional classic At the Heart of Winter, where the band sought a more slowed-down and definitely more epic sound. But “slowed-down” is all relative in the world of IMMORTAL, and Damned in Black brought back much of the band’s trademark speed whilst not losing any epicness – and the closing title track is THE definition of EPIC. Reinvestigate this overlooked gem of the IMMORTAL catalog and forever be Damned in Black!
